Medication-dependent headachesIf you're experiencing early morning headaches, consistently, that aren't affected by medications, you could have an "over-use" headache. Maybe you've heard about tmj?
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a complex and delicate joint that hinges the human jaw. Its ligaments and nerves run throughout the face, head, and neck.
Until recently, technology didn't exist to help patients suffering with TMJ issues because there wasn't a proven way to test for misalignment or to measure the forces exerted by your jaw.
Now, with the TruDenta system, we can measure bite force as well as bite balance which can contribute to limited range of motion and significant muscle tension.

Why Am I GETTING HEADACHES now?
Stress is an important factor that influences the frequency and duration of headaches. Stress within the body can manifest as muscle tension in the jaw, which, over time, can create a permanent imbalance in bite. Other contributing factors may be if you've experienced a physical trauma, new dental work, or started a new diet. Something else to consider is that as you age, you may develop teeth grinding in your sleep, and since your jaw is made of tissue and bone, the structures can can shift as you age.
